MAYA PATEL
McLaren Group Project
Overview
An Air Intake Manifold was disassembled into its 5 main components and their functions were discussed, including factors which affect the material selection and the manufacturing processes used to manufacture the part.
An Air Intake Manifold is one of the most essential parts of the engine, helping to evenly distribute and control the air going into the engine before reaching the cylinder head. It is a series of tubes that controls the amount of air coming into the engine and distributes it evenly to the cylinders, making sure that the right amount of air mixes with the right amount of fuel.
