Dimensional Systems Integration Engineer – Jaguar Land Rover, Gaydon

  • Ensured the dimensional integration of the Underbody System and design, with the use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to enable quality during the assembly process.

  • Liaised with suppliers, and across various disciplines including design and manufacturing to identify and resolve any problems, with the use of data analysis.

Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Graduate – Jaguar Land Rover, Gaydon

  • Joined the Graduate Early Careers Scheme, gaining experience in Dimensional Systems Integration, Crafted Quality and Human Factors.

  • Represented the company at Loughborough Careers Fair, engaging with future graduates and undergraduates and promoting company opportunities.

  • Delegated tasks with other team members to keep the shop floor organised at all times

Manufacturing Engineer - AWE, Aldermaston, Reading

  • Worked on upgrading legacy documentation to a modern process to allow for streamlined production processing. This was done using Team Center to access, improve and implement processes so they are more efficient and produce less waste

  • Gained an understanding of the manufacturing framework by shadowing work processing on the production floor to observe processes and speak with operators

  • Taken part and lead reviews to take products from concept design through to Critical Design Review for new tooling

Part-time Server - Dabeli Hut, Harrow, London

  • Efficiently making and serving street food to customers where I regularly managed the service independently and strived to maintain a great level of customer satisfaction

  • The role has helped me to develop my communication skills with a wider range of audience, work closely in a small team, increased my customer awareness. It has also challenged me to work under pressure during busy periods and understand the importance of prioritising the tasks in hand to complete them effectively

A - Level Design and Technology Projects

Toyota UK use Pokayoke Pliers to detect the fitting of hose clips.  This project aims to improve the unreliability of the pliers through different detection methods and prototyping.

Design consultancy Sagentia, tasked the group to design a device in a group which increases medical compliance for pill consumption, physical rehabilitation, or any other prescribed course of treatment.

NX11 and visualisations skills were used to draw and create 3D models of household objects in a realistic environment. 

Two projects were completed during my A-Levels both of which were focused on kids, ensuring the product was safe for them to use.
